I wrote this message below in you orkut couple days ago about the mermaid:
Chris!!! yesterday I saw a picture about the mermaid in coney island on newspaper here:) but they said: "...the landmark seaside amusement area will soon be transformed by a $2.36 million makeover, sparking fears the parade may be discontinued" did you know that???????????
I hope not!! The show MUST go on!!!!

Yes, it's true. A sad day indeed. I'm trying to get permission to shoot a documentary in Coney Island before it turns into a much different place with high-rise hotels and green parks. Coney Island is unique and it sucks that it's changing. :-(
